A screening to identify any factors that may interfere with a child’s learning, growth and development. The screening is also provided to help parents identify their child’s strengths and weaknesses and provide home suggestions and/or further evaluation if needed in any area of concern. Any child, birth to five, whose family or care givers would like more information about their child’s development can contact their local school district to receive a free Child Find Screening.

The women’s health specialists at PeaceHealth help manage the body’s changing needs through all of life’s stages. Team members may include gynecologists, obstetricians, nurse practitioners, certified mid-wives, pelvic floor specialists or gynecologic surgeons. Conditions treated include benign (noncancerous) gynecologic conditions, bladder or bowel leakage, gynecological cancer, and pelvic problems.

Employment specialists develop individualized programs for clients with disabilities to help place and support them in working roles. Case management includes job skills trainings, help with searches and resume development, and ongoing support.

A free transitional kindergarten for students who are not in an early learning program and are scheduled to begin kindergarten the following school year. The district must prioritize families with the lowest incomes and children most in need of additional preparation to be successful in kindergarten. Students must be 4 years old prior to August 31 to be eligible for the current school year.

Mediation, conflict coaching, and phone conciliation services for community members facing housing-related conflict who wish to resolve disputes, improve communication, increase understanding, successfully negotiate payment or re-payment plans, discuss deposits and move out timelines, address lease agreements and other related issues, and move forward with creative solutions determined by the parties. Housing Stability services are free.
