You can join a Medicare drug plan in addition to Original Medicare (Parts A and B), or you get it by joining a Medicare Advantage Plan with drug coverage (Part C). Plans that offer Medicare drug coverage are run by private insurance companies that follow rules set by Medicare.

Washington residents who do not have prescription drug insurance coverage, or have limited coverage, can enroll in the ArrayRx Discount Card program to purchase their medications at a discounted price. The card will give you discounts on prescription drugs not covered by your insurance plan, can be used by Medicare beneficiaries who do not have Part D coverage, or provide prescription discounts for those on high deductible plans.
