YWCA Bellingham offers a variety of different housing programs for women experiencing homelessness: Emergency Shelter, Senior Housing (specifically for women ages 55+), Supported Rental Housing, and a family shelter for women with children. A 9 bedroom emergency shelter serving people who are homeless and have behavioral health issues. Trained staff on-duty 24 hours a day.

Emergency shelter open during severe weather events to provide individuals and families in need with a safe place to sleep, warm food, and referrals to community resources whenever possible. Call or check website to verify open status.

Helps adults or adolescents who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, assault & battery, survivor of homicide, and child abuse. Services include: crisis counseling, advocacy for domestic violence and sexual assault crimes, safety planning, legal advocacy, transportation to medical, legal, and therapy appointments, Domestic Violence shelter, traditional healing and emergency assistance.

24-hour services include picking up stray, injured, aggressive, dangerous and dead animals; transportation and impoundment of stray animals to the shelter for impound, or in cases of emergency, to a veterinarian for medical treatment; and more.
